Welcome to another Planetarium Manager match!

A crowd of 45037 arrived at the stadium (with a full capacity of 50000 terraces) to see Italy - Poland! The conditions are bad, it is raining so the pitch is quite wet. These aren't conditions for technical football!

The players of Poland are able to use their long shots ability. The players of Poland are winning the majority of one-on-one confrontations. Italy's players seem to be lacking some strength in comparison with their opponents on the hard pitch. 20 minutes are counted, Łukasz Stawiński makes a pass to Igor Reszczyński all the way on the other wing. He is going to make a cross... the ball instead veers towards the goal area but hits the bar and is lifted over. It was almost an unexpected goal for Poland, but instead the ball is out for a goal kick. After 34 minutes, a crossed pass to the box by Igor Reszczyński finds Edward Wałęsa clear, but Edward Wałęsa wasn't able to do any better than put it well over the bar... The ball went flying into the crowd!

Half time. The result is 0-0. The statistics are pretty clear in terms of ball possession: the away side dominated with 62% of ball possession, while Italy held it much less, with 38%. With some surprise, Italy is keeping this result very well. Let's see for how much longer.

The marking style applied by Poland's players is working very well today. Around 53 minutes, Igor Reszczyński dribbles through the opponent's defensive line, and passes the ball to Edward Wałęsa, who controls the ball and makes a divine chip over the goalkeeper! Nice goal for Poland! With this goal for Poland the result is now 0-1. At 59 minutes, with the scoreboard marking 0-1, Igor Reszczyński recovers the ball and dribbles around one, another, and yet another defender before passing the ball to Edward Wałęsa... Edward Wałęsa under pressure from the defense, shoots straight into the hands of Agostino Mascalzoni. The keeper really made a meal out of that! He just barely manages to safely grab the ball after dropping it the first time…unbelievable! After 66 minutes, Edward Wałęsa passes to Igor Reszczyński, who immediately returns the pass. Edward Wałęsa dribbles his way into the box... where Arrigo Strao shows up, stopping this play showing a lot of positioning sense. After 72 minutes, Poland's players are calmly passing the ball near Italy's box. Igor Reszczyński passes to Edward Wałęsa who is able to find some space. He is going to shoot... but Agostino Mascalzoni, safely, takes two steps ahead and saves it. 84 minutes are counted, Łukasz Stawiński makes the supporters of Poland jump out of their chairs, when showing great style he dribbles past two defenders. When another one gets in his way, he passes to Gustaw Kobusz who races clear to the goal... Gustaw Kobusz shoots the ball, which amazingly hits the post, deflects across the goal line, hits the other post and goes in. Strange goal for Poland! With this goal, the result is now 0-2.

Great second-half for Poland, that gave no chance to their opponents after an even first-half.
