With the Turkies acquiring promotion, Decep has reinvested the money from their successful season into the academy and a few purchases of higher quality players, although he did not revert away from his youth policy. 5 new signings, 3 defenders, 1 midfielder and 1 forward, all 18 years or younger and 4 of which are Australian Players, adding to their desire to have a strong Australian base in their team. While the signings of Australian players is making the fans happy, the player everyone is talking about is the Bolivian forward Celso Arce who Decep has rated very highly and who is believed to be the forward they were looking for to Partner the Club Hero Seth Mapperson up front, who last season scored 46 goals for the club in 18 matches. Although some are worried Celso will push Ned Piper out of the Squad, being a local boy, Decep has assured fans they will all get a chance throughout the season to prove themselves.
Decep has told supporters that this season is about survival in a league he is more then familiar with from his days with his old club. He has stated his worries of relegation, but has a sense of optimism with the young and talented squad he has at his disposal.
